This site exists for one wedding. It is run by Siying Ji and Benjamin Byers — two people, no company, no analytics, no advertising. We collect only what we need to host you well.
When you RSVP we store your name, the names of guests in your party, your email, attendance status, meal preference, and any dietary or accessibility note you write. When you sign up for a tour we store which tours you chose and how many guests you're bringing. We also keep a lookup log of email addresses entered into the RSVP form (with timestamps) so we can spot typos and help guests who can't find their invitation.
We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party tag managers. We do not collect IP addresses beyond standard server logs (rotated weekly). The mobile companion app collects nothing at all — it loads its tour and phrase data from the bundled app and never sends information to us.
Only Siying and Benjamin. We use Resend to send confirmation and notification emails (so Resend processes the recipient address and message body), and Railway hosts the database. No one else has access.
Until 31 December 2026, after which we delete the wedding database. If you'd like your data removed sooner, email us using the contact link in the footer and we'll handle it within seven days.
We set one session cookie when an admin (Siying or Benjamin) logs in. There are no marketing or analytics cookies for guests.
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
If we change anything material before the wedding we will email guests who have RSVP'd. After 31 December 2026 this page will remain online as a static archive but no new collection will occur.
